Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself;
is not puffed up; does not behave rudely; does not seek it's own, is not provoked,
thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth;
Bears all things, Believes all things, Hopes all things, Endures all things. Love never fails.~ 1 Corinthians 13:4-7

A little bit of history

For any of our friends who are not on facebook, I thought I should post a little bit about how we met, how he proposed, pictures and all that fun stuff.

We met about 5 years ago, we started getting into English Country Dancing through some friends of my family's... We (The Mizell's) met the Older Hebert kids at one of the first dance events. Later at another practice we met the whole family.

We started going to a dance practice Tiffany (Tim's oldest sister) put on twice a month for everyone to get together, dance and fellowship. We got to know each others family's real well and it went from there.....

I guess you could say we fell in love while dancing!

Between then and when we got engaged, we just continued getting to know each other... we had good times, stressful times, sad times and joyous times... No story is perfect! But our God is and He knows just what He is doing. We are both stronger people today because of it and I wouldn't trade that for anything!

On to how we got engaged...

Tim & Katie
Engaged April 13th 2010

He proposed Tuesday evening.... He took me out to eat at Carrabba's Italian grill after I got off work.... we where going to meet for a semi quick meal before he had to go out on patrol that night (or so I thought)
The meal was wonderful and just being together to talk was nice... so I was enjoying and soaking up the moment! :-)
We were just about finished with our meal... I had excused myself to go to the restroom, when I came back he had this sweet little grin on his face... I really didn't think much of it, he usually does! ;-)
Anyway... back to the story.... He started to slide out of the booth (I thought he was going to use the restroom) When he said... "You know I love you"? I smiled and said yes... He then knelt down and pulled out the ring and said "How about this much"? I was speechless and had to catch my breath. (I knew the question was coming soon I just didn't expect it that night) He then said "Will you marry me"?!!! After another huge breath, I said "YES"!!!!!! (Obviously) ;-)

There was an older couple across the isle from us that started clapping and saying congratulations! Haha it was cute!
We then left and drove up to his parents house where both our family's were waiting to congratulate us!! We had cake, ice cream and coffee and just enjoyed everyone being together!!

A big thank you to all our family and friends who have helped be a guide in our relationship and faithfully prayed for us! We Love you!

The ring! <3

Now as of June 27th we are married! Still doesn't feel real sometimes, but how happy I am that it is real!! That through whatever comes I get to love this man and stand by his side! What a joy! <3

Some of the next post's will be wedding pictures and a run down of our special day for those who didn't get to share it with us... and for those who did, but just want to relive it (like me) ;-)

Love
~Katie
